  I have always loved their food but had issues in the past. They seemed to have revamped the menu and a lot of the staff. We had some of the best service I've ever had last time we went and it really pushed this place over the top.

  Let me start with the good. The place is nicely setup and decorated which lent to an overall pleasant ambience. The menu is put together well and the dishes all are described deliciously. Our server and the manager were very friendly and promptly made right the errors that we brought to their attention. The apples and brie waffle that I ordered was delicious and well-presented.
  
  The reason I give them only two stars is for the following very easily corrected mistakes:
  
  Over medium eggs on two separate dishes were completely off. Mine was dangerously under-cooked and my wife's was obviously and totally overcooked. The entire dish (Fall Hash) my wife ordered was overcooked and obviously burnt in many areas. The English muffins were glaringly burnt.
  
  Now as I mentioned, they took care of the problem quickly and even comped us part of the bill. The problem started when the kitchen manager let those dishes leave the kitchen and the server actually set them on the table in front of us as acceptable meals. Burnt food should never leave a kitchen unless that's what a customer requested. But I think what really made this a 2-star experience is that the plate with the burnt English muffins was actually the last plate they cleared from the table before we paid our check. Wouldn't you want to remove the problem from the customers view instead of leaving it there as a constant reminder?

  Went once and ordered their burger which was terrible, but should've known not to order a burger at a breakfast joint. So, we gave it another chance and went back for breakfast another day. Potatoes were not fresh (probably previously frozen), English muffins seemed stale and hard, oh and not to mention, there was a hair in my eggs. The waitress quickly took the food away when I pointed the hair out to her and brought me a new meal fairly quickly, but I always think if there's something like that wrong with your food, the manager should stop by your table and speak to you. This didn't happen. Nothing was comped (wasn't expecting the whole meal to be comped, but the eggs should have been). My husband thought the same thing of his meal - nothing seemed fresh and his cheese omelet was nothing to write home about.
